RenewTest LLC was founded to help the world with new and improved methods of harnessing energy. It is our goal to encourage people with their ideas and take those ideas to the next level. Q: What advice would you give to people in midlife who want to transition to a green job?
Just remember that many skills that you may already have can apply towards a green job. Wind turbines and solar panels are mechanical and electrical machines, not magic. These companies need people who can manage others, manage data, and teach safety, etc. Focus on what you already enjoy and are good at and see what type of green related job may match.
Q: What are the skills that you believe will be required most in the short-medium term in your industry?
Data analysis and reporting. Instrumentation experts.
