A useful learning and networking opportunity for anyone interested in climate tech: The Future of Climate Tech Collaboration & Systems Change free webinar on April 8. Here’s the description:
Join us! Be a part of the future of #ClimateTech collaboration and systems change – hosted by the Oxford Climate Tech Initiative in partnership with On Deck Build for Climate at the Skoll World Forum.
The latest IPCC report warns of ‘irreversible’ impacts of global warming – and evidence suggests that to accelerate a just, green and resilient climate transition major coordinated action must happen. The climate tech sector is part and parcel of this action plan, and engaging the full spectrum of players in the climate tech ecosystem is essential to this process.
This workshop will held at the Skoll World Forum, hosted by the Oxford Climate Tech Initiative , in partnership with On Deck’s Build for Climate, will begin with an interactive “lightning” panel with leading voices as well as unusual suspects to ground the session’s focus- including speakers from Nigeria Climate Innovation Center, SDG x Near Future Lab, Acumen, LowerCarbon Capital and more.
The panel will be followed by a series of breakout sessions wherein we will conduct a real time systems mapping of key challenges, opportunities, and relationship dynamics in the climate-tech space.
By the end of the 90 minute session, participants will walk away with new connections, fresh lines of enquiry and a strengthened sense of how their work can elevate the conversation and streamline collaboration.
